Where it started

I grew up with my mum and grandparents publishing an antiques magazine. It gave me a love of pieces made with care and kept for years: chains, signets and charms that had been worn every day for decades and still looked brilliant.

Then I grew up and kept buying jewellery that couldn’t keep up. I’d take pieces off for the gym, watch them dull after one holiday, and find that they looked the part without being built like it.

Keld is my answer to that.

Why Keld

A keld is a spring, an old word from the North of England for water that rises from the ground and never runs dry. It felt like the right name for jewellery that’s meant to stay with you.

The metal is stainless steel, finished in 18k gold PVD or left as polished steel. It’s waterproof, tarnish-resistant and hypoallergenic. No taking it off for the gym. No dulling after a holiday.

Every piece is designed in London and packed by hand in our small studio. We produce our pieces in small batches and some pieces come as limited drops that won’t be repeated.

Pieces you can wear every day and still love years from now. Find the one you never take off.
